Rolls Royce is probably one of the most recognised icon in the world.


Launched in 1965 the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and hand built in Crewe the "Shadow" became the iconic car of the most iconic brand. No model since has created so much passion and following, the original model being the most loved.

Our treasured car Hope has a fascinating history, the order was placed on the factory 18th December 1968 and was delivered 14th April 1969. Sold by Jack Barclay Rolls Royce dealers to Mr W Hope a partner at Kind Hope and Co, accountants in Stockton-on-Tees for the grand sum of £7405. As a testament to her first owner we have decided to call her Hope.

She has been factory painted in the Rolls Royce Shell Grey with grey hide covering the seats, both of which are still original.

Powered by a 6.3 litre V8 engine, Rolls Royce would never release the brake horse power but it is believed to be around 240bhp. Its 3 speed automatic gearbox provides a smooth and effortless journey.
